Widget you are wrong!

My widget says that I have 1 day left...wrong--I am one day LATE! I've never been pregnant for this long and I don't think I like it. At least some people tell me I don't look "that ready" for whatever that means. My doctor said, "Oh, I know why you haven't had the baby yet, it's because you haven't even reached the minimum weight gain." I guess that's okay, but it still doesn't help my hugeness. I think I've tried all the things I can (minus the cohosh and castor oil--sorry, I can't do it!) Soooo, I really hope things happen soon. I almost started to think she doesn't WANT to come out... for heaven's sake, she doesn't have a name AND she has two big brothers who will drown her with kisses and "love". Here's to a baby this week!!!

More Adventures in Pregnancy

Well the JEEP trip didn't do the trick so I opted for some other suggestions! Adrianne told me to try Eggplant Parmesean... so off to Olive Garden we went tonight. I had never had it before and quite frankly didn't know if I wanted to "waste" my dinner on it, but I went for it and it actually wasn't half bad. I even offered some to Treyson telling him it was yummy chicken. He agreed and ate a few bites until he looked inside and asked "what is in this chicken, mom?" I laughed and said, "There is something wrong with that piece, sorry."

And then we headed home to practice Treyson's no-training wheels again. He's working hard, but can only do it when Matt is home to take him...which isn't very often. (Besides, could you see me trying to hold onto the back of the bike running after him all big and pregnant?!) So after that we headed up the street to some neighbors, the Ruports, to test out the trampoline..... It has put many women in labor so I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try. So here I am with 5 little boys--11 down to 4 years old--jumping with me! Treyson told me I did a great job jumping, thanks bud!

That's enough for today's adventures. MAYBE she'll think about coming tonight, but Matt would now prefer tomorrow night since he signed up for a bowling tournament for tomorrow afternoon... sure honey, I'll try to hold her in for you.

Any other suggestions for me to try????

STILL Pregnant

I have been waiting to see if my computer will ever recognize my memory stick stuck in it, but no, it won't. Sooo, I have a lovely picture of me, all big and pregnant, to show all of you and I can't get it on my computer. Lovely. You will have to read this update without a picture, sorry!
Not really much to post actually, but I wanted to just say that I am STILL with child and she doesn't seem to want to enter the world anytime soon. I am hoping to get things going a bit by taking a JEEP ride with my father in law this afternoon. I've been walking as much as the boys will keep up, but Cru is pretty distracted by just about everything so my walk turns into a leisurely snail speed. I could put him in a stroller or something, but the kid loves to do it on his own, so independent. I'm figuring that's why he decided to come a week early, he was so ready to enter the world.
Well, we've passed almost all the relatives birthdays that we could have shared, my niece Natalie's was the 18th and my auntie Jayne on the 25th so we are shooting for tomorrow, my sister in law Annie's birthday! Since Cru was born on her husband Jon's birthday we think it's only right to have this one on her birthday. Hopefully our plan will work! Cross your fingers!! Here's to a Jeep ride, another walk tonight and whatever else will help this baby to make her grand entrance... and yes, still no name.

Baby GiRl rOOm

I am FINALLY (almost) done with the room!!! I'm way excited for the way it turned out and a BIG thanks to my mother in law for making the beautiful crib bedding. It was a bit more elaborate than she had done before, but she went for it and it turned out wonderfully.
Another thanks to Lindsey for letting me "steal" the stripes idea, I love it. That was a long process, but I worked through many naps and bedtimes to get that finished.
I will have her name above the crib... when she finally gets one and a pillow will go on the chair. Other than that, we are ready for her to come!! I think I'll start the extreme walking/bike riding tomorrow to get things moving here. She's already "moved down" the doctor says and I am dialated to a 2 already, yoohoo. She can come anytime... I just don't know if I'm ready for the labor! Is anybody ever, really????

Well we've taken the plunge and bought ourselves a minivan...
We settled on buying the Honda Odyssey because we thought it was the best for our family. And besides, I couldn't not get a Honda because my whole family is full of them!
We always said we didn't want to get a minivan, but those things have made some leaps and bounds in all the things they do... and besides that we couldn't afford the Escalade that we want yet. I think my favorite part is that the doors open with one push of the button! We could have fit all the kids in the truck, but we figured they would be a bit more cozy and spacious in the new van.
Treyson is pumped about the new purchase and tells just about everyone, including the cashier at Walmart. We're loving the extra room and can't wait for baby sister to join our fun!

I know, I know I need to post something new and believe me there is lots to blog about but my computer has been on the fritz and now it won't recognize my camera's memory card with all my new pictures, including the baby's room! Soooo, keep checking back and hopefully I'll have new posts up SOON.

Cru decided he didn't want to take a nap after church on Sunday... so we had him eat lunch with us. I guess he was tired and didn't know it!

My really good friend just started a new website and she has some fun baby girl accessories! She has headbands, nursing "blankets", cute beenies (hats), and more. You really have to check it out!!!
