Baby GiRl rOOm

I am FINALLY (almost) done with the room!!! I'm way excited for the way it turned out and a BIG thanks to my mother in law for making the beautiful crib bedding. It was a bit more elaborate than she had done before, but she went for it and it turned out wonderfully.
Another thanks to Lindsey for letting me "steal" the stripes idea, I love it. That was a long process, but I worked through many naps and bedtimes to get that finished.
I will have her name above the crib... when she finally gets one and a pillow will go on the chair. Other than that, we are ready for her to come!! I think I'll start the extreme walking/bike riding tomorrow to get things moving here. She's already "moved down" the doctor says and I am dialated to a 2 already, yoohoo. She can come anytime... I just don't know if I'm ready for the labor! Is anybody ever, really????

This may be weird, but labor is always what I am excited for. I was just telling Devin today that I cannot wait to have another (seriously, I would start trying tomorrow if he'd agree). My favorite part of pregnancy is the sheer chaos and surprise of when labor begins. I love it, love it. Savor every minute of yours for me because you make me miss it already. :o)

The room looks AMAZING! I have to say, I always considered polka dots on the walls for our little girls room, but when that day comes I am thinking I will steal your stripe idea. They look so sophisticated. Just my style (and probably easier than polka dots). :o)

So I first see the pictures and my first thoght...where did she find that really cute bedding. And then I'm disappointed that I can;t order it. (Not that I need it...but still...TOTALLY cute!) Then I think...who did they have do the stripes...another AMAZING WOW - you did! So impressed! Perhaps we'll have to hire you on the next go around. :) I was telling Jeremy last night how good you looked and how much it made we wanted to puke. The type of woman that just has her little cute belly. Totally put together, hair done, makeup on, and ready to pop at any time. I don't think you have even gained a pound anywhere. You look FANTASTIC!!!! Good luck with everything and keep me posted!

And the stripes are amazing!! I was thinking about doing something like that in Braden's room, but am so scared! So cute though, seriously I would pay big time for a cute room like this! Good job!

Love the room! I remember you saying earlier that you were no decorator, but this is truly amazing! Great job with everything and now all you need is a beautiful little girl sleeping peacefulling in her crib! I especially love the dark chocolate satin in the bedding! What a talented mother-in-law you have!
