Our Batmans!

We had a fun night celebrating Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Hammons' house! We ate a very yummy ham and potatoes dinner complete with rolls, salad, jello and peppermint ice cream dessert shared later. The kids played a story game called "Left Right" where they had to switch presents left or right depending on what happened in the story. It was interesting to see two year olds try to figure that out! But they loved their new toy in the end. The adults continued with gift giving with our own white elephant game of sorts. We each brought a present worth $15 and picked a number out of a hat to see what spot we were in the game. First person opened a present and the next got to steal it or open a new one. It was fun! It would have been a bit more fun with ALL the adults in the family, but Annie and Jon stayed up north in Boise and Molly and Elliott were on a small little vacation in ROME! We missed you guys!! The night ended by the traditional jammies presents... a whole pack of Batmans and Christmas girl treats. (We opted not to get the girls Batgirl pj's because we figured they wouldn't want them because they are "boy pjs" SO they got Christmas ones.) What a fun night spent with family. On our way home it started snowing and the flakes got bigger as we headed in Ivins and we woke up to our white Christmas! Treyson was a bit disappointed because he couldn't ride his new skateboard Santa brought him.

Looks like we missed out! I love the batman pj's and we would have loved to have done the exchange with everyone.

SO cute! LOVE Macey's hair! And her cute leggings! So glad you guys had a Merry Christmas! We didn't get a white christmas, and my kids whined about not being able to go sledding... I guess you always want what you can't have! (they also wanted skateboards... it must be the age). :) Hope you also had a Happy New Year!

It would've been fun to be there with everyone, but Rome was awesome too! :) Love ya! (oh, and my temple picture was delivered, but somebody must've stolen it while we were in Italy. :**( )
