We were lucky to have several friends run in the St. George Marathon this last weekend... shout out to Katie Budge, Jeff and Jamie Wursten, Matt Baird (who qualified for the Boston, congrats again to you!), Tresure Goates, and a few others. We made it down to the finish line to congratulate some of the finishers, but it was a ZOO down there and we only managed to see Katie and Jeff & Jamie finish. I was so proud of all the runners and without knowing 99% of them I was a little surprised how choked up I was getting for these random people. It is a huge accomplishment and I was glad to be a part of it all!
And with all the fun of the marathon, we decided to gather up some of our old Cleveland friends and meet for lunch at a park. We met on Sunday in between conference and had a good time catching up and seeing how much the kids have grown. We had the Budges, Bairds, Goates, Hendersons, and Carolyn (Becky Higgins friend from the west side). We missed the Wurstens (but met up with them on Monday at the park), Scholzens, and the Shakespears... we'll catch up with you guys later!
It was a blast to see you all, congrats again on your big accomplishment!

I am so jealous! Sounds like a fun reunion! So did it motivate you to run it next year? :) I have been craving seeing someone familiar lately! Glad you had fun!
That sounds like so much fun! We have yet to run into too many friends out here in Reno...maybe someday...

Haley, sorry we missed you at the park on Monday. With all the craziness of the weekend, we hadn't had a chance to hang out with my family, so that day we went shopping and to the pizza factory. Anyways, thanks for the invite. It was great to see you guys and hang for a little while. Glad to see that things are going well for you and you are happy in St. George.

It was good to see you and fun to see how the kids have grown up. Thanks for your support at the race. It was fun, and I expect to see you out there next year!!! We will have to get together again next time we are there.
