Treyson's 3rd birthday

Treyson's 3rd Birthday Party!
Treyson had a fun time at his SPIDERMAN birthday party... He had lots of great friends who came to celebrate with him on his special day. He was a little scared when we all started singing Happy Birthday that he ran under the table and started crying -- ("it's my party and I'll cry if I want to!") we think he was a little embarrassed by all the attention on him.
Haley "created" this birthday cake for him. She was going to make a cake, but decided it would take too long so we headed to Costco that morning to pick one up. It had balloons and all kinds of birthday fun stuff on it, but Treyson didn't want it because it wasn't his SPIDERMAN CAKE mom had been talking about! So we went to work to create this cake, removing some balloons and adding some webs, spiders, and cake top with spiderman and Mr. Octopus (as Treyson calls him). It was a fun time!

Niagara Falls

This was our first time to Niagara Falls! We took a mini vacation and stayed two days in Niagara Falls, CANADA. We stayed on Clifton Hill where there is lots to do... Treyson loved it. He especially loved the hotel we stayed at, check out the dragon pool! We took the Maid of the Mist tour, getting very wet, but it was fun to be able to get up right up close to the falls.

Expecting

Well if you haven't heard the news yet, we are expecting our second child! We are all excited about the new addition coming. I am due October 17th, just three weeks after Treyson's birthday. Treyson keeps asking if the baby is coming out soon-- so I tell him after his birthday!
We went in for our 20 week ultrasound and we found out we are expecting another boy!! We are glad to be able to give Treyson a brother, especially Matt! We think he will be a great big brother.
I am getting ready for another pregnant summer in the hot, humid Cleveland weather!

Formal Night

We went to the dental formal this year and had a blast! It was so fun to be able to dress up and have a night with friends and no kids. We have great friends!!

Christmas in the Northwest

We celebrated Christmas in Washington this year with Haley's family. We were lucky to spend three weeks there to visit with everyone. Treyson loved playing with his cousins--Trenton and Blake. It was a wonderful time!!

Love Birds

Treyson and his "girlfriend" Hadley... These two kids just love each other! They don't get to see each other very often, but when they do they just are so excited to see one another. We ask Treyson who his girlfriend is and he replies, "Hadley!" We've been planning their arranged marriage even before Treyson was born... who knows?!?!

Hayride

We went on a Halloween hayride the other night. We didn't quite anticipate how cold it was going to be! My jean jacket didn't keep me as warm as I thought. Winter is among us!!!

Halloween 2005

We had a fun Halloween season this year. Treyson dressed up as a lion, but if you asked him he was a tiger... He would give you a good growl though. Matt and Haley dressed up as frankenstein and his wife. We had a good time getting all done up. Happy Halloween!

Binky "broken"

Well we finally did it...we got rid of the binky! I was way ready to give up more than Treyson or Matt but it had to be done. Treyson is handling it fairly well. He is just fine at night without it, but naps are still an issue. It'll get better though. We bought a new train in place of the broken binky. I keep reminding him that he got a new toy because his binky broke and he says, "Yeah, binky broken." We had a ceremony and snipped them right off!

Treyson's 2nd birthday

Treyson had a great birthday this week with many of his friends. He is 2 already! I can't even believe it. He wore his crown so proudly and he really was king for a day! He was showered with gifts from friends and has had a great time playing with all of his new toys. He can hardly decide which one he is going to play with first.




Nothing like opening up your presents while wearing your favorite Wiggles slippers! Check out all those gifts! It's great to have friends...
